Membership options
The VLGA’s vision for local government is to support a diverse and growing network of community leaders elected to local government who are more connected, informed, and capable of providing good governance for the communities they serve.
We offer 4 membership options:
Council Membership – available to Australian based local government entities
Alumni Membership – available to formerly elected councillors. Alumni members can access reduced pricing to VLGA events and programs
Young Councillors Network Membership – available to currently serving councillors who are 40 or under.
Associate Membership – Associate memberships are available for organisations or entities which support the work of the VLGA who are not affiliated with a council or current or former elected councillor.
